Sanne is a highly motivated Physiotherapist with an international background. She completed her physiotherapy qualifications in Denmark in 2000 and has worked extensively in Australia since 2004. Sanne has a diverse range of skills including treating medical, orthopaedic, intensive care, musculoskeletal, neurological and general surgery patients in the Australian and Danish hospital system as well as private clinical practice.
She has also worked in rehabilitation of adults post surgical, falls, stroke and patients with neurological disorders, including patients who have deteriorated during hospital admission. Prior to starting her own mobile physiotherapy service in 2014, she has helped people in the acute phases of recovering post orthopaedic surgery working on an orthopaedic ward.
Her passion is to help others live more active and independent lives in their own homes. Sanne is committed to delivering the best possible physiotherapy service to the population of Canberra.
Pip is a generalist physiotherapist with a keen interest in palliative care and rehabilitation. Pip graduated from Sydney University in 1996 and has worked in a variety of public and private practice roles in NSW, QLD and the UK before settling in Canberra with her family in 2007.
Pip has experience in a variety of areas including orthopaedic, neurological, lymphoedema, women’s health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She has a special interest in respiratory conditions and is passionate about breathlessness management for those people who struggle with air hunger. She also has extensive experience working with MND patients through her palliative care work.
Pip’s career highlights include working as a physiotherapist at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, cycling through the streets of Chelsea and Westminster in London as a community physiotherapist and eight years of enabling palliative patients to live their lives as fully as possible.
Pip is keen to continue her work enabling others to reach their goals and to assist people to manage the symptoms that may limit their independence and quality of life.
Judy comes with a long diverse career in Physiotherapy, since
graduating in Queensland back in
1983. She has worked in a variety
of settings within public and private hospitals, overseas in the UK,
research within a rheumatology department, private practice
settings and in aged care facilities.
With an interest in aged care and helping maintain quality of living, independent function and
mobility, she has been passionate about implementing and maintaining mobility, balance, and falls
prevention strategies. She has enjoyed working with dementia clients and running balance programs
with them.
She has also worked with postoperative orthopaedic and general surgical clients as well as those
with general medical conditions (eg Stoke, Parkinson, and respiratory conditions) or are just
deconditioned. After completing an assessment training certificate IV Judy has used it to mentor carers and staff
assisting their clients especially with manual handling. Enabling the comfort and care of clients and
or their carers is her ambition.
Judy brings a broad set of skills to her clients and is happy to help them identify and achieve the best
possible outcomes that suits their individual goals.
Caroline has had extensive experience as a physiotherapist since graduating in Victoria in 1981. She has worked in rehabilitation units in public hospitals, both in Australia and in Canada, and worked in Aged Care facilities for many years.
She is experienced in working with people who have had orthopaedic surgery, fractures, neurological conditions such as stroke or Parkinson’s disease, falls, general surgery, and deconditioning after a lengthy time in hospital.
Caroline is passionate about working together with older people in a holistic manner, to help them achieve their personal goals, and so enhance their quality of life.
Diana graduated in the UK in 1981. She has lived and worked throughout Australia. Emigrating in 1986 to Australia, Diana worked in rural and regional
hospitals in WA and Queensland. These settings provided her with diverse
experiences and her skills and interests developed according to what crossed her
path, which included paediatrics, pre/post-natal care, women’s health, musculo-skeletal management and restorative care.
Diana describes herself as a generalist, but her more recent practice has been
working with older Australians as a mobile physiotherapist and in community health
centres. From this work she has developed interest in chronic pain management and dementia.
Diana’s approach to health is holistic, self-managing and family-centred. She likes
to help people build their knowledge, to re-build their confidence and to improve their wellbeing.
Elli has been working as a physiotherapist since her graduation from the University of Sydney in 2009. This includes private and public hospital work in the areas of musculoskeletal, emergency, cardiorespiratory, rehabilitation, and general medical.
Most recently she has worked in community physiotherapy dealing most commonly with the conditions of osteoarthritis, chronic pain, subacute injuries, tendinopathies, back pain, shoulder pain, continence and pelvic health, as well as post-surgical patients.
Elli is committed to a collaborative patient-centred approach with the consideration of patient-specific goals.
Lauren is an enthusiastic physiotherapist. Completing her Masters of Physiotherapy at Sydney University in 2009, she developed a passion for acute hospital work in the areas of cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, general medical, women’s health and outpatient lymphoedema services.
Being fortunate to work through many different areas Lauren has developed a diverse range of assessment and treatment skills as well as having developed a devoted and warmhearted approach to patient centred care and communication. Most recently Lauren has held a senior physio role in the private hospital sector dealing mostly with cardiorespiratory conditions and orthopaedic, neurological and medical rehabilitation.
Having had a long standing role in rehabilitation, Lauren is well equipped to support the opposite end to the hospital setting and help patients continue their rehabilitation and manage their ongoing health conditions whilst in the safety of their home environment. Lauren is excited to be working as a community physiotherapist and to provide a collaborative approach to her patients.
Tam is originally from Perth, Western Australia, and graduated as a Physiotherapist from Curtin University in 2011. She has worked in a variety of settings including aged care, acute hospital, ICU, rehabilitation, and hydrotherapy. Tam has also got extensive experience assisting clients with respiratory, cardiopulmonary, neurological, musculoskeletal, and orthopaedic concerns.
Tam believes in a client-centred and holistic approach to healthcare. She enjoys collaborating with her clients to create and achieve individualised Physiotherapy-related goals. She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Sexology and is passionate about making all clients feel equal and respected. Tam is a warm, caring person who values respect and inclusivity.
Maddy is a passionate physiotherapist who strives to help clients achieve their desired goals, maintain independence and maximise their physical potential through a holistic approach. After graduating from the University of Canberra in 2018, Maddy has worked with a variety of clients in a musculoskeletal private practice setting including sports rehabilitation, acute and sub-acute injury management, chronic pain, DVA and workers compensation clients.
Maddy also gained extensive experience working in various Aged Care Facilities across ACT and regional NSW during her time as Allied Health Team Leader then Regional Manager. She worked with residents to manage a variety of age-related conditions such as osteoarthritis, Parkinson’s, chronic pain management, falls, post hospital rehabilitation and Dementia management.
Fiona is an experienced physiotherapist with an international background. She completed her physiotherapy qualifications in the UK in 2003 and has worked extensively in Australia since 2004. Fiona has a diverse range of skills including treating medical, orthopaedic, neurological, and general surgery patients in the Australian hospital system as well as as a community physiotherapist.
Fiona has, for the last many years, worked in rehabilitation of adults in the private hospital setting, but is now enjoying taking all of this experience to the clients' homes. Fiona has a very holistic approach to physiotherapy and aim towards keeping people independent in their own homes.
Jacqui graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science - Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2008. She has worked in the two major Spinal Cord Injury units in Sydney and in general rehabilitation units within public health in both NSW and ACT health. She continues to work in leadership roles in Canberra assisting in the development of services for people with neurological presentations and has had a key role in the Motor Neurone Disease clinic over a number of years. She has extensive experience in the rehabilitation of adults who are transitioning home from hospital and those living in the community.
Jacqui has a particular interest in sub-acute neurological conditions including post- stroke recovery, Guillain Barre syndrome and Spinal Cord Injuries. She has expertise in the care of complex degenerative neurological conditions including; Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson's Disease. Additional to this, she has extensive experience in rehabilitation post amputation, prosthetic training, hydrotherapy and spasticity management.
Jacqui brings a client centred approach, she enjoys getting to know her clients and their families to enable the best outcomes for them.
Anna graduated as an occupational therapist in 2018, and has worked across both public and private sectors for
6 years, improving patients' lives before discharging from hospital to home. Anna decided to go back to studying physiotherapy and graduated with a Masters of Physiotherapy in 2022, and
has worked in a private musculoskeletal and oncology rehabilitation clinic since graduating.
Anna has a keen interest in neurological disorders, specifically rehabilitating individuals post stroke, those with
Parkinson's Disease, MND and other neurological conditions as well as clients experiencing chronic pain. Anna is eager to continue to broaden her knowledge, experience and skill set within physiotherapy, and continue to work with people of all ages. She loves working with people and assisting in improving independence in daily activities and overall quality of life.
